Drummer’s mother Lodge Viola is a daughter of Ronick Piccolo who won Junior Female Champion at the Royal Show in 2000 and along with Lodge Promise won reserve Best Pair bred by exhibitor, they were joined by Lodge Oriana to win the group of three by the same sire. Piccolo is now over 10 years old but is still looking great and breeding consistently.
Drummer’s sire Sarkley Voltigeur is full brother to Sarkley Sebastian who was sold for 23,000gns to Northern Ireland in May 2003 and Sarkley Trendsetter who sold for 11,000gns in May 2004. A maternal sister to Voltigeur called Sarkley Damarianne sold for 17,000gns at the Sarkley sale In November 2009. Top prices for Sarkley Voltigeur sons include 11,000gns for Sarkley Cromwell who was sold to the Ronick herd at Carlisle in June 2009.
Lodge Dapper sold for 4,500 gns at Carlisle in October 2009, where he was the first bull to be sold, by auction, from our new stock bull Attila.
